almost caramelized


I love caramelized onions. If only I was patient enough to actually make them. I wanted caramelized onions and fennel for this pizza but ended up with not quite caramelized. Oh well it still had good flavor. Here are the toppings...
  • root vegetable marinara (from the freezer)
  • almost caramelized onions and fennel
  • fresh from the farm arugula (yeah it is farm season)
  • passed the nutritional yeast and red pepper flakes at the table
I'll rate this a 7. It was really good but I should have taken the time to cook the onions properly... The flavors were a good combination - of course how can we go wrong with fresh arugula?
